Current Solicitations
In response to questions and comments received, FWA is revising the following provisions of the RFQ issued on July 25, 2022:
Due Date - To allow sufficient time for Proposals, the Due Date is being extended to September 2, 2022 (though you are welcome to submit in advance of that date).
Estimated CEQA Budget: Section E, Item 5 - In light of FWA’s likely preference to utilize a focused EIR (Task 2B) rather than an MND (Task 2A) , the Proposal only needs to include a scope and estimated budget for an EIR.
Estimated NEPA Budget: Section E, Item 5 - References the need for an “additive budget” if a joint NEPA document is prepared. However, given that at this time FWA and Reclamation have no agreement in place for a joint document and that Reclamation may likely prepare its own NEPA documentation, the level of coordination necessary is unclear. As such, the NEPA scope and cost item may be left out of the Proposal, and will be negotiated at a later date with the successful proposer.
